The Stars of the Deep
In the depths of ocean blue,
Where the sun’s light filters through,
Lie the stars upon the sand,
Graceful creatures, wondrous, grand.
Arms outstretched in silent grace,
Scattered ‘cross their ocean place,
Patterns delicate, intricate, rare,
Nature's art beyond compare.
Silent dancers in the deep,
In their world of twilight sleep,
Twinkling softly in the night,
Glistening in the pale moonlight.
Among the coral, through the reefs,
They drift in silence, without grief,
A galaxy beneath the waves,
In hidden realms, where silence saves.
